MASS MEDIA CONSTANT is a 21st century drum n' bass odyssey for the networked generation. By drawing influence from such sources as LTJ Bukem, Photek, BT, Pendulum, and The Sims, zircon ensures no two tracks sound alike. His signature electro-organic style, developed over the course of four previous breakbeat and trance albums, has morphed and evolved with the fast tempos and scintillating colors found throughout this album. As you listen, imagine a scene conceived by the artist during the album's creation - walking through a super-stylized version of Times Square at midnight on a Saturday, looking at all the billboards, bathing in neon light, hearing music coming from bars and restaurants, and watching cars and buses fly by.

I'm really happy about this release. It was just a blast to write - I essentially worked on it as a full-time job last summer, listening to LOTS of drum and bass as a reference. Now, I'm not a purist so I'm not sure how it would be classified, or even if it could be considered DNB, but whatever you call it, it's fairly different than what I normally write. If you're interested in peeking into the production process, I did a little video "tutorial" or walkthrough on a track that would be named "The Emerald Lounge";

YouTube's audio encoding is messed up, but hey, the thing's still viewable, right? You can download a much better quality version here:

thanks for the awesome response, guys. I've got more drum n' bass music in the works, but here's a little bonus - a remix of a heavy metal band I did a couple years ago. Definitely a bit different from MMC, but still fun.

The original band is "Octane", and the original song is "Octane". Enjoy.
Cool remix! The band sounds familiar even though I don't believe I've heard them before.
Thanks!
I was wondering if anyone knows anything about fruity loops, and if so... why does it continually click crackle and pop during playback. I know this isn't the forum for this; so I apologize, but I've been everywhere and you guys seem pretty knowledgeable, so any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
This thing's been on repeat in my car since I downloaded it. Awesome stuff!
(@Tank: Try messing with the audio buffer settings. Make the buffer longer, i.e. more samples, and hopefully your problem will cease. If not, you'll just have to deal with it and render when you want to really hear what you're doing. I have to deal with this problem myself all the time, heh.)
But I seem have not nothing, and you this quite no need I so think, here is see!

China had forgotten the past history with Japan. The former Premiere Mr. Deng Xiao Ping , when asked by the Japanese premiere about twenty five years ago." about the return of the northern island back to China."
